You are wrong. Yes, it used to be that way but Trump has made it about Trump, not the office.

There is not any college football coach in country that would do otherwise. People forget that Trump won Middle America and the working class, which is where college football has most of it fans. The NFL and the NBA could afford to play politics, College Football can not.

That’s your opinion.
You’re certainly entitled to it.
Don’t go through life thinking the world is out to get you; it saps the fun outta it.

“... That was the end of that. Coach Saban put that to rest pretty quick. So, it was good.”
So right before they meet with The President, Saban will address it again. " Any smart arse that causes an embarrassment up here won't be flying back with us on the team jet."

Good for Saban!! That’s how leaders lead!

Just when I think you can't get any dumber, you go and post again.

Saban wants them to get a feel for DC. Once Saban Retires after this season he will be gearing up to run for president. He wants his players to see the possibilities for them to be appointees to his administration. Of course it is only for the few that don't make it to the NFL.

These days, the very act of going to the White House is a political statement.
So how does one win a championship without making a political statement? Or do you prefer bullshite tribalism in literally every decision

Is that your default statement whenever you speak with liberals? You probably live in a trailer don’t you?

you acting like Obama was some kind of good guy doesn't make any sense to me.

This is such an odd thing to melt over

you act like Trump disgraced the office and 'makes it about Trump', not the office. You are obviously partisan.

Doesn't matter who is President. Obama, Hillary, or Trump. All 3 have haters so as a team this is a reward for winning a championship. Great move Saban!

No. The left has politicized it just like everything else. I disagreed with damn near every policy of the Obama administration but had I been invited to the White House, I would have considered it an honor. It's always an honor when the President of the United States invites you for a visit.
