And he didn't mind telling everyone he did it.

Yeah, he asked that photographer to take that poignant photo of him with the Arkansas player.

Troll another time. TIA

I remember just before the Bama-LSU game a couple of years ago, Saban sought out Les to talk with him a little bit after Les' mother died.

Good job Coach Saban, I'm sure that young man appreciated the kind jester.

I saw him at the end of the game and you could tell the emotions were catching up, as someone who lost my own Father my heart went out to him.

I know nick was being kind, but I wouldn't call him a jester...

Nick is one of my favorite coaches..

Why are there downvotes on the original post for this, that's all I wanna know. It's like some people feel Saban is incapable of being a genuinely good person without an agenda, only because he happens to be a successful coach with a consistently dominant football program.

Except his head coach lost his his sister while playing in college, not to mention two other players while coaching in Iowa, and was the one Frank's mom wanted to be with her son when she told him. Then he and Jen flew to Minnesota with him that night to take him home.

But it was Ole Nick who helped the guy let it out more.

He took Bradie James under his wing when James lost both his parents around 2000-2001. James talked about times that he and Saban would just drive around and discuss life. Saban may be a dick and have extreme expectations, but he has always had a heart for players who are spiritually hurting from a loss.

One of our starters lost a father and Nick Saban gave him some kind words of encouragement so LSU and Tennessee fans come in here and show how classless they are.

I hope Alabama rolls your miserable asses.

I know enough about him to form an opinion...it's public knowledge.

CNS is a and has always been a class act. He does more for the game of college football than people realize. Dude is always a step ahead of others and his results show it on the field every week.
