I remember back in the day they would stop the game if they crowd was too loud. Then it just seemed to go away.

They realized it was foolish to try and control that.

Interesting. I wonder if that contributed to his loss in 2021 or his 6-point victory in 2023.

We do not “pipe in” crowd noise. Never have and we’ve been loud for literally decades. Saban needs a hobby and to stop being such a whiny little bitch.

It was also annoying, especially when you're the home team.

Auburn should consider doing this.

Vols are the kings of this. Not that it matters much in the end.

I’ve been to about a million home games, and there is no “piped in” noise apart from the normal between plays stuff that every school does. Most Ags actually complain about the noise between plays because many of us think it works against crowd involvement in the yells and the yelling when our defense is on the field.

And I guess we should have been paying players instead of piping in noise.

It's wild that you immediately think of five young men leading a crowd of 105,000+.
I rarely (never?) give a single passing thought to whatever passes for "tradition" over there in Austin.
Rent-free, buddy.

Saban is kind of acting like a bitch here.

A&M is so loud not because we have 100k plus but because we have the largest student section in all of college football and give them decent seats including most of an entire side of the stadium. For big games that's over 40k students standing and yelling and they are near the opponent bench (the area directly behind the bench between the 40's are former students). That's why it is so loud, no one else comes close in terms of the amount of student seats and their quality of seating in proximity to the opposing team. They actually invested in a lot of acoustics as well with the Kyle rebuild to make sure we could trap in sound.

A&M has no need to pipe in noise.

Texas only has one tradition..... WINNING.

I completely understand why you would avoid thinking about it.

Poor aggies

Saban's not an idiot. He's been coaching football his entire fricking life. If he says they pipe in noise, they pipe in noise.
