You keep saying this in every thread like it's some sort of "gotcha", but it really only makes you look like more of a dick

You're saying it's all okay because the girl wasn't hospitalized. "Not a big deal guys, he only hit her a little and not enough to cause an ER visit! Why does everyone keep overreacting?"

Go hit your wife a few more times, then stop right before you think a hospital visit is necessary. Sounds good to you, right?

She didn't suffer any pain at all from the encounter is the point. I'll pay 100% of for damages related to pain and suffering from the exchange. Is that better even though it's the exact same amount: $0.

The fact you and others keep trying to associate this with domestic violence is fricked up on your part. Not even a remote care at how you lessen the severity of real domestic violence when you try to equate this kind of shite to it.

SURPRISE! Remaster916 just happens to be an Alabama fan that also defends Burton's shitty sore loser behavior

How many times have fans rushed the field after a college game? And how many times has an opposing player, at an away game, hit a fan of the home team for no reason?

Y'all act like this happens all the time and rushing the field just deserves some form of punishment, when it wasn't even Burton's home field to begin with on top of everything else wrong with this situation

Don't shove your phone is someone's face. About 99.9% of the time you are going to get a negative reaction. He sad he was swatting at the phone. It was not a punch. If he had punched the girl she would have been laid out.

The only thing wrong with the situation is fans being where they are not supposed to be.

If a fan runs on the field before or during the game, they get tackled by security.

Security can't tackle 1,000 fans rushing on the field.

Fans don't belong on the field at any point a player is on the field.

Put yourself in Burton's shoes at that moment.

Assuming you're a decent human and an even better man, is there any reason you'd hit or shove a little blonde girl that weighs maybe all of 100 pounds?

We have the video, we know she wasn't punching him first or doing anything that could be described as threatening. What reasoning could you possibly have - other than being a sore loser that just hates seeing those opposing fans celebrating - for even touching that girl?

Give me a legitimate reason he should've had ANY contact with that little blonde girl, outside of her physically threatening him

What exactly are people calling a hit these days?
There were plenty of UT players on the field.

Why didn't your POS thug slap one our O or D linemen?

OH...that's right. He might have gotten his head torn off and thrown at his sorry arse.

The player is not at fault and no punishment will happen to them.

The fan is at fault and should be banned from attending anymore games for running onto the field. A place where fans do not belong.

Show me some case law to back that up. Surely with the hundreds of times thousands of fans have rushed their home field, you can find one that got charged with trespassing. Right?

And not only that, you can find where a player on the opposing team doled out the punishment. After all, that's what you're implying here.

There is no excuse for what he did as I've said multiple times. She was already past him, they were walking in opposite directions, no self defense, etc.

He should have just ignored her.

That does not mean he punched her. He pushed her.

This argument is so dumb it doesn't even deserve a legitimate response.

Is an Alabama player given some sort of security immunity to defend the home team's field? Why didn't any other Alabama players defend Tennessee's field from those threatening 100lb blonde girls "being where your(sic) not supposed to be"?

The player in question and the University should sue UT for failure to provide adequate security and for promoting and even encouraging fans to storm the field of play. Just my thoughts. Not a legal opinion, not saying that my services are better than anyone else, just saying.

Nick Saban coming off as a prick? I'm shocked!

Still worried about salvaging this post-rebuild season I suppose.
