I don’t think it will ever get to that point. When these kids are still losing games and aren’t in a position to make real money in the NFL due to a lack of development, the market will correct and it won’t matter what A&M offers

It will just mean coaches will be fired. Then it is back to the status quo. The market will not correct itself.

No, REC. If you live in Alabama you know how it works.

Those guys didn't come to Alabama because they wanted a bunch of money for 12 months from a NIL deal. If that was their goal, they would have gone other places that have and are giving away much more in NIL compensation.

They came here for the NFL draft.

Youve moved the goalposts from the original quote that i replied to.

You can say you misspoke.
Say you changed your mind.
Or defend whether gibbs and burton are getting the same deals at their previous stops.

I know why burton left.

But i also know he is getting significantly more than at UGA.

Both can be true at the same time. Im only arguing about the NIL available to Gibbs and Burton for 2022.

Saban takes the high road as usual

Meanwhile, Jimbo is over there throwing a fit like a 13 year old girl

High school recruits will take the NIL money over promises over being drafted in three years. Those recruits do not have any doubts of their talent, but the want they big money now. Bama was good at the under the table recruiting enticements, but that doesn't mean anything today.

Gibbs and burton will be drafted next year.

And... top 3 round kids should go to a school that can showcase their skills. UGA showed that they dont even need to be starters so long as their game reps fit their skills.

NIL is nickels and dimes compared to what most high draft picks get.

He saved face but didn't back down from his stance. Good job, coach.

Three years is a lifetime for most of those HS recruits. Plus an 18 year old thinks he is going to be a first rounder regardless of which school he signs with. The transfer kids will look at the draft prospects and the depth charts, but you are fooling yourself to think the signed based on what will happen in three years.

Which side of his mouth did the stance come from?

Yeah. Well then the adults are going to show the 18 year old what schools put their positions/skillsets in the first round and put some common sense on the table.

You havent been paying attention to recruiting close enough.

No, other schools will show all the top recruits that have fallen on their face over the years also. Underachieving kills that talk.

I don't think anybody believes Kirby did well because of the NFL Draft. He learned a lot from Saban.

Not triggered. I think Saban is the only person that can save College Football at this point. But it doesn't take away the fact his stance is hypocritical. If he though the Bama Booster Program could keep up, he wouldn't say a word.

Kirby has four 3 star recruits in the first round.

Maybe saban learned from kirby.
With Kirby as DC, Bama was 5-0 in national championship games.
Since, Bama is 2-3 in national championship games.
(Kirby is currently 1-1 on his own).

Wrong. It's much more than that. As much as morons like you try to claim they know all about Nick Saban and what he's about, you miss the fact the man cares about college football and the future of the sport. It's not about who signed the number one class. It's much more than that.

Endowment doesn't matter, none of the money comes from the endowment. And Texas' endowment is double A&M's.

What matters more is number of high net-worth alums. A&M isn't even in the top 20 in the US on that measure. Other P5 schools in the top 20 include USC, ND, Texas, Michigan, Stanford, Miami, and more.

bullshite, it is all about how it affects Nick. Just like every other rule he tried to change. He just knows that Bama can not keep up with the richer programs so he is trying to change the rules for him. Just this time the other programs can benefit.
