.5-.5 that's a win pct of .500. Not terrible but definitely not up to Gus' standards.

Alabama is about to finish in the top 5 for the fifth time in six years. And yet in six of the twelve years he's coached in the SEC, you're saying Auburn wasn't ranked at all when the teams met?

Now we just feel bad for you.

Shock. Schedule and media.

After Bama crushes Notre Dame national meadia says its Bama and everybody else.

Except they escaped LSU, escaped Ga, lost to A&M.

But they are way ahead. especially with rematch.

Bama is the second best team of the decade. Crystals or not. Crap schedule and rare;t wins SEC. LSU even and without the crap rematch could be going on 4 in a row.

Schedule as LSU's? Not close.

Lots of team/coaches during dominate periods had or have that one program that bites them.
It's not to shocking that team ends up being a rival either.

1990's FSU had Miami
1990's Tennessee had Florida
1990's & 2000's Georgia had Florida
2000's Oregon has Stanford
2000's USC had Oregon in the end
2000's LSU had Arkansas and now Bama it seems
2000's Saban LSU/Bama has Auburn

Many of these match-ups cost these programs Titles
It happens a bunch in CFB

Only stat that will live on throughout CFB History
Is Saban's 4-0 BCS Title game record

That stats shows exactly exactly how mediocre Auburn football is. Saban has been in the SEC 12 years and has just faced 6 ranked Auburn teams.

Goddamn.. Either the win encouraged alters, or it drummed up the gumptastic side of our fanbase.
