Michigan state averaged 5.5 wins in the 5 years preceding Saban. He won 6,7 and then won 9 in 1999.
Kirby would not have taken that moribund program to doubling its wins in 4 years. Kirby is good. Let's not get carried away until he's won 5 of 9 national titles. Then, When he's won 10 of 19 or so, we can say he has lapped Saban. Right now, he's more Mark Dantonio than Nick Saban.
Oh, he's also 0-fer against Saban.

Georgia Fans: Look at us! Look at us! Say we’re good!
Georgia is “new money” in the respect they’ve been on the cusp of playing for/winning a national championship in back to back years. But facts are you haven’t won shite. You can’t even begin to discuss GOAT status until you WIN multiple championships. NATIONAL championships. Even winning a championship (see auburn) doesn’t mean you’re the new king. Kirby is a great coach and I believe he’ll possibly win big at Georgia but he’s no where near GOAT status yet. A great record won’t change that (see your previous coach). Winning the big one is the only way to reach the mountain top. And no matter how much validation you get wont change that.
As a Bama fan that lived through the “Dark Years” my advice is to sit back and enjoy what Kirby is doing for UGA. Playoff appearance, SEC Championship, recruiting victories are all things to celebrate. Seeking validation fades what the program is accomplishing. Elite schools don’t have to convince others that they’re elite. And I n my opinion UGA is an elite school. Just not the king.

What did the prior 3 recruiting classes for Michigan State look like prior to Saban vs Georgia recruiting prior to Kirby. Pretty sure Saban didn't have 3 top 10 classes sitting there waiting for him

Now go back and look at exactly what was left of those “top 10 classes” Kirby had waiting on him.
Kirby outpacing the GOAT in every measurable category when comparing similar timeframes. Kirby might already be the GOAT

The tragedy is that you actually believe this.
