This is why Saban is the best. All business. And not a single player or coach questioned him.

He told Tua he was gonna play & said we’re gonna play two QBs within earshot of hurts. I actually didn’t even see him look at him lmao
I think he also knew Jalen well enough to know that he didn’t need some dramatic pull aside heart to heart, lol.

I feel bad and proud for Jalen. You can tell it was a shot to the gut and that it made him angry deep down. It makes me appreciate how well he handled it and what a class act he was because that was not an easy thing to take.

That would have been my first assumption if not for the context provided by the interview.
Not judging… I think in a way it shows he cared about the kid, just not what I would’ve expected from Nick.

Me too. Honestly, this makes his moment the next season in the SECCG even more memorable. How easy would it have been to give up after that? Or after you're 2nd string the next year? He went from being gutted in the biggest moment of his life to leading a team to a Super Bowl victory.
I'll always & forever be a Jalen Hurts fan.

Did you not listen to what Saban said?
He said multiple coaches questioned him.
