Again, the idea of imposing restrictions that limit a kid to only 75% of all Power 5 teams is not what I would call an issue. At all.

It's a shitty thing, sorry
I just don't think it is. I get why Mo wants to go there, but he's not being screwed. He is free to go to Miami, Texas, Penn State, Baylor, etc and probably be a starter or spot starter in 4 weeks.
Or he could (or could have, now, probably) stayed at Alabama and been the same thing.
We don't always get exactly what we want, sometimes we have to compromise.

Mo only has to sit out 1 year, not 2, like Saban did.

It is, sorry. I know you're a Saban apologist/disciple but again, there's a damn good reason people are bringing this up, and it's because it's a shitty thing to do to a kid who just wants out. You're giving him every reason to smear your program when you could have just let him go and nothing else would have come of it.

Because he's a GRADUATE TRANSFER and doesnt have to as long as his ego driven coach will release him.
Yes and the SEC RULES SAY YOU MUST SIT A YEAR GRADUATE OR UNDERGRADUATE if you want to transfer to another SEC school

Anyone who has read things I post on this board know that is far from the truth. Saban has his moments of asshattery and unnecessary stubbornness that drive me nuts. I just don't think this is one of them.

And here you are on page 16 of a thread that doesn't involve LSU in any capacity whatsoever. All because you want Nick Saban to look bad

Ugh, I give up, you assholes can have your ego trips with your coach now.

Saban is being a petty here. Considering the circumstances, he should let the kid go to UGA.
1. He graduated in 3 years
2. Kirby knows more about Saban's defensive playbook than Smith will ever know so its not like the kid is going to spill the beans on calls, alignments, etc.

Yet plenty of people are saying otherwise from outside your fanbase, wonder why. Maybe it's because blocking a kid from getting his 1 year to play immediately is a pretty shite thing to do? Eh, maybe, who knows.

And quite a few in here totally fine with.

you forgot to add AT GEORGIA OR ANOTHER SEC SCHOOL. Because the statement you made is not true. He is more than welcome to do it at FSU, Baylor, USC or any other school not in the SEC.

2 games do not make you a starter He was completely ineffective in your secondary. You're still full of shite

GTFO with your faux outrage....if anything this kid let the team down by transferring out after spring practice and before camp. What's up with that? he can go to any school he wants as long as its not in the SEC. That is the deal he signed up for....Saban doesn't owe him shite....he got a free ride and a degree and he's released to where HE SAID he wanted to go initially: Miami and Baylor....then he does a 180 and decides Georgia....we aren't giving this guy a pass to UGA when its just as likely we would se them in the SECCG.
