Having Kirby as our head coach pretty much guarantees success. He is young and full of energy. Saban is old and getting grumpier everyday.

How about the Head Coach who is paid millions to make sure 'they' are ready. How about this: "It is my responsibility as Head Coach to prepare my players to be the best players they can be. And when they got their opportunity, it is clear they weren't properly prepared. That's on me and my staff."

Saban has more than proven himself of producing championship caliber players and teams. His recipe works. If certain players can’t reach their potential in his system, it’s on them.

Yeah, I remember all of you saying that after the beatdown in Atlanta.

It’s on Saban. He throws players under the bus when he fails as a HC. If they were such bad team members and pouted non stop he had plenty of time to show them to the door and check out the portal. He has shown himself to be a whiney little bitch. He needs to retire before he further destroys his legacy.

So when Kirby fails to win the NC again this year, it’s because he’s a shitty coach that didn’t prepare his players?

I listened to that injury bullshite excuse about Tuna when LSU beat them in Tuscaloosa 2 years ago. They always got the injury excuse when they choke in a big game

No. If he doesn’t win a NC it will be because it is extremely hard repeat the next year. I expect UGA to make the playoffs and the odds are good that they can win a NC again. The talent and coaching is there and the schedule is favorable. But if they don’t win it all we will still be Dawgs and behind our fine young coach. The future is bright. Kirby is only in his mid 40s. Lots of time to win a lot of titles. Gonna be fun

Bamas 5 star QB cracked under pressure. He was shown up big time by a former 2 star walk-on who played his heart and soul out for UGA. Loved all those QB sacks and grounding calls on Bamas last drive. It was sheer panic and desperation. Not very cool Bama.

Bryce played well. If his receivers hadn't been hurt he would have continued to carve up Georgia's defense as he did in the SEC title game and the early part of the NC game.

You mean like Alabama last year?

JTD had not proven he was healthy enough to be a starter anymore. Bama didn’t have that problem with their starter.

Daniels played after recovering from the injury, so that is bunk.

Yes, limited to however many plays he wanted.
Would have been a 1K yard receiver despite never having been onel or close to one.

Georgia was missing their starting corner, while Bama was missing both of theirs along with the 3rd best.

I can link you to those commentators saying Bama would have won without the injuries if you want.

Absurd. You're just fabricating stuff. Bama was hit with numerous injuries in the latter part of the season in addition to the ones earlier, while Georgia was actually healthier in the latter part of the season.

I’ve been watching college football since I was a toddler. My parents took me to my first UGA game in 1962. I’ve seen a lot. Including the Bama days after Bear. Better get ready. More of those sad days are on the way for the Tide

Sad you haven't learned anything in all that time.

As for the Bear - the time between Bear and Saban was a hell of a lot less time than 40 years.

Print. the. shirts.

This reaction by a certain segment of Alabama's fan base is the unexpected gift that keeps on giving.

So keep it coming, this is going to make my entire off-season.

When you can only beat us once a decade or so, maybe it actually has merit?

Even Jimbo Fisher won a national championship once. UGA fans acting like future titles are just guaranteed now after finally winning one is hilarious. Like that 40 year draught wasn't enough to make it sink in just how hard national titles are to obtain.

Carve up is quite the exaggeration. The amount of drops have been exaggerated and his bad pass led to the acl tear.

And then he got hurt again, which solidified the idea that he couldn’t be trusted to be our starting qb. Meanwhile, young played all year long without injury. Huge bama advantage and uga overcame it.

That’s not how acl tears work. Those are decisions led by doctors and PT’s. Want to and allowed to are not the same thing.

Missing our all American DB, so that’s bama down 2 starters and uga down 1.

Uga having more starters available later than they did earlier doesn’t mean uga had more starters available than bama did.

1. We were still missing our first round pick all American OLB ANDERSON, unlike bama.
2. We used a backup LT vs bama, unlike bama.
3. We were forced to use a backup qb, unlike bama.
4. We were missing an all American DB, unlike bama.
5. We had our #1 wr for less plays than bama did.

And that win will be the first of many. Face it. Bama is reeling. They are no longer king of the mountain. And all that crying, whining and excuse making is because they know their best days are behind them. But they will have their memories to keep them warm.

Jesus Christ dude, enjoy the title.

However last year was Georgia's best team in decades, and one of the worst Alabama teams ever under Coach Saban and Alabama still should have won the NC.

Alabama will win at least 3 more NC before Coach Saban retires, (Coach Saban 7, Coach Wooden 10- there is the goal)

Maybe he should recruit players that are more team oriented rather than those who focus on their personal accomplishments.

UGA, like the Atlanta Braves, lost players all year long. But you never heard Snit or Kirby complain, they just coached the next man up to do the job.

3 out of our 4 TDs were scored by freshmen and our QB was a former walk on. I wonder if there’s ever been a stat like that in a CFB NC game.

Kirby took what he was given and coached them up. Saban’s a narcissist who can’t shoulder the blame for not doing his job.
