I’m gona tell y’all what is about to happen. Bama won’t find their guy and they’re going to pay saban an insane amount of money to stay one more year while searching for a head coach for 2025.

Big decision for Saban but he did it.

He’s gone for good.

Did he though? The man is still an employee of the University of Alabama and has been given an office in Bryant-Denny Stadium. That's probably to keep the players calm and the roster from transferring to schools like Colorado. He's likely also involving himself in the coaching search in an advisory role.

He showed up for work on campus this morning just like he has done every day for the past 17 years. He didn't just leave us with our dicks in our hands.

Saban was going to leave sooner or later. He basically said he was concerned he wouldn’t be able to continue performing up to his own expectations due to his age and ability to keep up.

It’s better for him to leave now while the program is in good shape than to wait for the bottom to fall out then leave a mess.

He deserves to go out how and when he wants to without any criticism for it. He had a huge affect on all of college football, not many coaches can say that.

I have a feeling he’ll help all he can to make the transition as smooth as possible.

So next bama coach will be able to coach and live in Saban’s shadow, literally
