The SEC will most likely file a Federal Suit tomorrow to claim they have the right to rule their conference and make rules in governance of their own identity.
Regardless of what the State Judge in Louisiana says on the court order Thursday, this is going to federal court (similar to the Sorsby case).

My prediction is, LSU never actually plays the players in question because they are not that important to the teams success and not worth the risk of ruining a promising season.
But will try to force the SEC’s hand to deal with other “ineligible” players in the conference through legal action. On the grounds of the SEC is arbitrarily enforcing its own rules regarding “ineligible” players with TRO’s. You cannot pick and choose which ineligible players with TRO’s you allow and which you punish.

The NCAA, SEC and all other conferences should have filed to have all lawsuits consolidated and moved to Federal Court., but they would get crushed mainly due to
1. New rules and effective timing
2. Their willingness to create exceptions that aren’t universally applied
3. Arguing that playing on a nFL camp roster without a contract is different than doing the same act with a contract.
The one thing that LSU has done is bring such a brilliant spotlight on the program that they will be the focus on ESPN all season.
Great recruiting tool and marketing strategy.

Does it include having the right to pick and choose which court decisions to follow regarding players who are repeatedly deemed ineligible by the NCAA?
