I've been to an Ohio State game in Columbus (not as a Tennessee fan). Most of them were fine, but they have some pretty nasty characters. I imagined they are also really annoying Cleveland Browns fans on Sunday.

Since I mentioned the NFL, I have to add that no college football fanbase is as trashy and obnoxious as Philadelphia Eagles fans. They are the worst fans of any sport in this great nation. However bad as visits to Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, or LSU can get, they don't hold a candle to trashy NFL fans. Buffalo Bills fans are also extremely annoying.

As a hog fan that lives in central Arkansas, I can say without a doubt, that LR games are a couch burning, pond swimming, mud-hole diving, turkey 101 chugging, shite show of a time. I urge other fan bases to please judge our dear program on a trip to Fayetteville instead.

^This. I think most fanbases are actually pretty nice to opposing fans so long as you're not being over the top or rubbing salt in an open wound. There are a few bad apples and exceptions but people are mostly there to have a good time and if you're not a douche you generally don't have to deal with many douches.

Really? I have been going to UGA games since I could walk and barking is not a thing most Dawg fans engage in except for the “calling out the Dawgs” cheer. Even if every Dawg barked in the face of every Gamecock fan they met it wouldn’t be nearly as offensive as that screeching chicken sound y’all blast out in your stadium. - it sounds like the poor bird is being strangled - or your drunken fans staggering into the stadium. Y’all sure have a lot of folks who can’t hold their liquor

Both were awful. The blacked out drunk Dawg fans barking at everything that moves is something else. It's a mixed feeling of being embarassed for them while wanting to load up an over hand right and let it go.

My OU BIL went to the game in 03 and was butthurt by all the tiger bait comments and after the game on Bourbon. Now he roots for LSU to lose every game

Agreed on Arizona State fans. I remember them cheering when Matt Leinhart went down in Sun Devil Stadium. Arizona fans are pretty bad too. Good riddance.

Went to a Kentucky FB game back in the day, tailgated close to the stadium and when I got back to my truck somebody had destroyed my razorback tent. Three different Kentucky fans offered to pay for it, got to respect that.
