...got all the travel plans finalized and am wondering if anyone has any advice on gameday in Pasadena? Best time to arrive and best place to park? Wont be doing any tailgating.

Taking my two sons and nephew and all are insanely excited.

Go wave confederate flags on Cal Berkeley's campus while wearing a "Make American Great Again" hat.

Seems weird to travel out of his way to Northern California just to be a dick to some college liberals

What is funny is i fricked up and bought 4 tickets on the oklahoma side of the end zone by mistake. The damned stadium diagram threw me off. Ended up with 7-L row 40...around the ten yd line on my second purchase though.

Now i have eight tickets and need to unload four.

What are you trying to do? If you don't mind standing in lines, you can park in the city and take one of the shuttles to the stadium. You'll be waiting in lines though. That's probably your best bet if you aren't tailgating or don't have someone to drop you off and pick you up. Cause parking at the stadium will be a pain and you can't really park in the surrounding neighborhoods

Whatever you do don't take the shuttle. Spend $100 on a parking pass to park at the bowl.

You can find some parking down in the Arroyo seco if I'm not mistaken. You'll have to pay and it will be a walk. But that's an option

Yes, StubHub. They were around $100 last week when I was wasting my fricking time looking. We did the shuttle in 2013 and it was a breeze getting to the stadium but was a nightmare of lines leaving.

Stay in Pasadena. LA sux. Head over to Glendale and Burbank and check out the film studios. Go catch nine holes at the golf course u will park on outside the north end zone. Restaurants are meh. The setting is the most awesome in college Football. When u pull up to the stadium and see the "Rose "Bowl" on the south end zone facade, u will get chills down your spine.

We weren't there until the next week but folks out there go nuts over that parade. I imagine you have to camp out to get a decent spot or spend more for a ticket to have a seat in the stands than you probably spent on game tickets.

Wanted to stay in Pasadena but alas nothing is available short of some real sketchy looking places....ended up booking a hotel in North Hollywood near Studio City....

I got a Lot D pass off Stub Hub for the A&M-UCLA game for $150--best money I spent on the trip. We were out of the stadium and back at our downtown hotel in 25 minutes. If you can get one of those close lots, you can get out pretty quick. I think it may take a little longer to get out from the golf course, but I'd rather wait it out in a vehicle than standing in line for the shuttle bus.

Of course, if you get a hotel in downtown Passadena, that would change the equation.
