Rock Mullaney........May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the warm sun shine on your face. May the soft rain fall on your fields. And until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hands.

Sorry for your loss, dude. Lost my best friend since childhood (who was also an obnoxious Bama fan) to suicide a few weeks ago and no one saw it coming. He was THE funniest person I had ever known and I even invited him to come trolling with me on this forum on several occasions but he wasn't into message boards. You never know the internal battles others are facing. The world and life fricking sucks. But life is precious and those you're close to could go at any minute, so be nice and never miss an opportunity to spend time with those you love... Here's to our friends shouting roll tide on the other side

Damn that's fricked up. Personally I'm of the Beano Cook variety. I don't care when I die, just not during Football season. I could even imagine taking my own life if shite got bad enough, but not until after the Playoffs. May the dude rest in peace.

This is why I can never truly "hate" Auburn fans: their lives are too closely intertwined with ours, in a state which isn't particularly large, for us to be ignorant enough of one another to breed hatred.

War Eagle, friend, and sorry for the loss.

l lost one of my best friends to suicide a few years back. He was an avid Clemson fan, we could talk about football for hours if we wanted too. He was in agony over Clemson for years. I get so freaking mad sometimes that he can’t be here to watch their success now....I think about it a lot actually. Suicide sucks

I think we can all imagine it if we're honest. But never fear I'm happy as a pig in slop. :-)

While I'm sure it's something we've all pondered at some point in our lives, you always have to keep in mind the affect it will have on the people you leave behind - those who DO care about you because someone does. I truly hope that if it ever got to that point for you or anyone reading this, you'll at least consider reaching out to someone first. At least give it a shot. You'll be surprised to discover how much people truly do care when it matters most and you'll receive more support than you could have possible dreamed of.

One of the most amazing things I've ever seen on this board (yes THIS board where we love to troll and insult each other into submission) that we tend to never dwell on is the time a UGA poster posted a suicide thread on their board. Those posters didn't know this dude from Adam yet quickly did a little research on the stranger behind the account name and reached out to his loved ones, ultimately saving his life. It proved that on a forum full of shite, there's still people who care, even if they only know you by your username.
