“Alabama, the tradition is rich,” Williams Sr. said. “But you go to school for the people in the building. It’s not the building, or that they’ve got the newest training facilities. It’s the people in the building, and that’s the relationships. That’s what we were about the whole process, just the relationships.
“You do your thing at Bama, and you’re going to get a shot,” Williams Sr. said.
Before closing out our conversation, Williams Sr. had one more thing that he wanted to add.
