Next we hear how Saban was a better pro coach than Sean Payton but he just wasn't given enough of a chance.
Payton is only any good because he bows to his players and lets them call the shots. Saban rules with an iron fist, but he values input of people like Ro.

Better? Not a frickin chance.

The SEC has the best defenses, because of players like Ro. You could easily plug Ro into the Ravens and he'd have better stats. He's got a better grasp of what offenses do than Lewis does.
This is like the fans that say the national champion team in college could beat some NFL teams. Just as dumb and just as wrong.
Maybe back in the 60's and 70's that was remotely possible. But today, it is just wrong.

Well to you guy's credit, I don't see a ton of Rolando McClain and I have been watching Ray Lewis for years, I already know what he can do. I know McClain s great, I just need to see him play more.

Ray studies hours of film for fun. You obviously never watched him play in his prime if you think he's not athletic. Nobody's been better pursuing running back. There was a play in the 2001 Super Bowl when Tiki Barber had a big hole in the left side of the line. Barber's jet quick. Everybody assumes he's going to get some big yards out of the play. Ray comes out of nowhere to tackle him for a four yard gain. Game was over right there.
In 1997 against the Chargers, speedster Eric Metcalf catches a pass and turns upfield with nothing but green in front of him. Ray's across the field a good ten yards away from the play. He runs him down before Metcalf reaches the end zone. People often don't realize that Ray was actually a much better player in the late 90s then he's been in the last five or six years. Believe it or not, the Ravens were an absolute joke defensively at that time. When Ozzie Newsome finally got some players around him, the Baltimore D became otherworldly. It's also quite telling that players like Edgarton Hartwell, Adalius Thomas and other players that played like All-Pros next to Ray became average when they went elsewhere.

Dex, you're letting your hate of Bama take over your brain. Can you honestly, with a straight face, tell me Lewis is a better LB than McClain? The only people disagreeing in here are Bama haters, plain and simple.

The Bama hate is too strong for them to look at reason. Delusional bastards.

Ro is ray lewis on super steroids

We aren't talking about that scrub, we are talking about Ray "Overhyped" Lewis and how Ro is most likely the better LB.

If someone disagrees with your opinion you cry and tell them they are wrong. Damn this is a great conversation.

In case you didn't know.. there was a college team that played against the SUPER BOWL champions every year and the college team won 9 times.

Bear Bryant's 1972 Alabama team also played the Dallas Cowboy's in a scrimmage and won 19-16.

In all seriousness what does Ray do better than Rolando? He's a smaller older less intelligent version that listens to Phil Collins before games, super ghey.
