Dex, you're letting your hate of Bama take over your brain. Can you honestly, with a straight face, tell me Lewis is a better LB than McClain? The only people disagreeing in here are Bama haters, plain and simple.

Honestly, I do hate bama. But I do love good defense and I think Saban is a good coach for college ball. But to think McClain is even in the same league as Lewis is a joke.

McClain will be a solid part of someones defense in the NFL but he has a long way to go before he is even in the same sentence as Ray Lewis

well.. no.. but it did have some of our folks on it from time to time. Fielding our whole team would have embarrassed the NFL.

Ed Reed is a good player but he isn't the god that everybody think he is. Dude freelances way too much. Without Chris McAlister shutting down half the field, every good QB has shredded the Ravens secondary this year. The Colts always destroys the Ravens because Reed leaves the corners out to dry way too much.

In all seriousness what does Ray do better than Rolando? He's a smaller older less intelligent version that listens to Phil Collins before games, super ghey.

He's won a big game, just saying. McClain has a chance to do that this year though.

In case you didn't know.. there was a college team that played against the SUPER BOWL champions every year and the college team won 9 times.

Read the second part of what I wrote. I know it happened 30+ years ago but its a different game today.

I am really starting to SERIOUSLY get embarrassed by my fellow LSU fans. It's not like we are being SARCASTIC.

He beat a crappy Giants team (like beating Ohio State)and he would have never have gotten there without Trent Dilfer.

exactly. College players are physically more dominant and smarter and Ro is a freak above that. Which is why he would be able to start for any team right now over any starting LB. Ro is gonna take the NFL by storm like DeMeco did a few years ago. He's that good right now. He woulda started over half of NFL linebackers last year as a soph.

I realize you think Lewis is the superior LB but you do at least have to admit it's close. Both are great LB's.

I agree that McClain has the potential to be a stellar LB. Get back to me in 4 to 5 years.

He's right under him. He is better than Knute Rockne though.
