Since arriving at UT we have seen elite recruiting and development at the D-Line. This years Vols team lost a lot of talent on both sides of the ball, yet the Vols are leading the country and the SEC in sacks with 22.0.

Thank you Auburn for being incompetent and not being able to keep your best assistant coach.

Vols #1 in Team Sacks in FBS

He’s a great DL coach and developer. Miss having him at Auburn.

Is there a coach with a worse history than Rodney Garner? This question obviously excludes Trooper Taylor!

He’s still around? Wasn’t he on Donnan’s staff?

Dude has produced everywhere he’s been. It’s amusing to see UGA fans act like they didn’t buy Kirby’s classes.

Laughing at your own joke because no one with any sense is saying that.

He’s a great coach and a great man. Letting Garner go is just one item on Bryan Harsin’s extremely long list of: Things to Completely frick Up at Auburn

Garner is trash. Dude lived off of Derrick Brown his entire time at Auburn.

Garner is so bad he got two different coaching staffs fired with his shirts recruiting. Auburn in 2020 because both DTs were so bad we could not stop the run. Then both those DTs went to Florida and got that staff fired too.

We never had a pass rush with him at Auburn, expect in 2017 when Muschamp brought in Mud.

Bro what? Marlon Davidson, Derrick Brown, Nick Coe, Carl Lawson, etc.?

Dude had dlinemen out of the arse until Gus's final year. If we had hired Freeze instead of Mr. Potatohead he would still be on our staff.

The Gus years were filled with bad olines, but we consistantly had good dlinemen.

Davidson could not passrush to save his life. He was a 3-tech DT playing DE. Coe was slightly above average and a one year wonder.

And when Lawson injured for two year so was our passrush in 2014 and 2015. 2016 was good because we had Lawson and Mud. 2017 we had Mud. Then after that we could not rush the passer too save a game.

RG is a plus recruiter and a decent DL coach.

But let's not go overboard.
