Hey Hawgs, any word on when he is expected to be able to play? Best wishes for him to get back on field!

Rocket Sanders is taking first-team reps in team drills at practice and should start this weekend.

Sanders has been out since sustaining a left knee injury in Arkansas’ 56-13 season-opening victory against Western Carolina. According to multiple reports, including Mason Choate, Sanders did not make the trip to Baton Rouge and will miss another game.

Sanders is officially a bust at this point. Overhyped.

May not be a bad idea to opt out. Lots of money on table and he is right to do what is best for his family.

Pretty obvious that LSU would be sitting on two losses if they hadn’t managed to dodge Rocket.

It's been 84 years.

It tough to keep Sanders under control, and also stop KJ’s runs. Both those dudes are over 250. I think Sanders is close to 250 at least. There ain’t that many RB’s that big and physical in todays game anymore.
The biggest RB A&M had was 280 (J Lane) and he was a load to stop, fast too lol I don’t think we will over see that again.

And J Lane got his weight down to 260 and played 3 seasons in nfl.

frick off Jimbo! Do your own scouting.

He was the only player I’ve ever seen in my life that progressively got fatter as the season went on. Usually players lose weight or stay the same.

From the sounds of it, rocket is expected to be back Saturday! Aggies better buckle those chin straps for 4. That’s a lot of weight to hit between him and KJ. Also dubinion is a violent runner too. Going to be a real physical game Saturday morning. Hope both teams come out of it relatively healthy

Officially a dumb take. Not surprising coming from a LSPoo fan.

Jimbo pissed off and is in hot water with the Auburn media for his KJ comparison.
quote:
Jimbo Fisher recklessly compared Texas A&M’s Week 5 opponent’s quarterback, Arkansas’ K.J. Jefferson, to Auburn football legend Cam Newton ahead of a September 30 showdown in Fayetteville.
“It starts with KJ Jefferson,” Fisher said (h/t All Aggies). “He reminds me of Cam Newton. He’s a 6-foot-5, 250-255-pounder or whatever they say. I know he’s a giant. I don’t know what they weigh him at but he’s big, he’s strong, he’s fast, he’s throwing the ball excellent. He’s making great decisions, he’s hard to get on the ground… Going to have to make sure you wrap him up when you get pressure.”
