Noo! Man. I mean I enjoyed laughing at the way he talks. But I grew up watching him coach since my grandpa was a big ND fan. Many great memories bc of him. Rip Lou and to the Holtz family.

Wtf does it matter if you weren't a fan? What is the point of even adding that? Fricken aggies.

Because it's easy to like someone if you're a fan.

But when you're not there's nothing wrong in acknowledging it and still saying you'll be missed, RIP, or enjoy the happy hunting grounds coach.

Save your sanctimonious BS. I've attended lots of funerals out of respect for someone other than the deceased.

And this has nothing to do with being a sports fan. You aren't a thinker. Be dumb on another thread.

If I had to guess, the person you're replying to thought you meant you weren't a fan of his politics (for no reason at all cause you never implied that)

but I could be wrong

I had a Lou Holtz doll when I was a kid. He was huge here. Won us our second NC with the '78 Orange Bowl thumping of Oklahoma. Then Frank ran him off and the suckage began.

Always liked Lou.

Damn. Sad to hear. In a world full of sharks, Holtz was still a beast and did it with integrity. RIP

LSU fans in this thread making fun of a brilliant guy who overcame all kinds of obstacles. He is likely still alive but it doesn’t look good. Some of you guys are children who won’t ever grow up or recognize greatness.

Lou was our HC my first two years at SC. We weren't good, but I still knew he was a legend. Loved listening to his conferences, and his overall thoughts on life. He was a titan of a man.

Even if his hours are short, he is, and will forever be, a legend.
