You can still medical redshirt if you play in less that 20% of the games. Which he hasnt yet. So he eligable. Amazing talent. Would much rather him get healthy and be strong next year than play 50% this year.

Honestly I don't think the RS matters either way. No way does a kid with is talent stay 5 years in college, or even 4. He's a bigger and faster Mike Evans. Got hurt on this TD catch and run against Rice when he was hit from behind as he went in the EZ and didn't see it. Just hope he gets healthy, kid is really special. Hit is at 1:30.

Can't really see a lot in the video but it is where he hurt it. Essentially he was running in on a 70+ yard TD and was slowing down when a Rice guy tackles him going into the end zone from his blind side. Not a dirty play, just an unfortunate one. He hurt his PCL and appeared to be healing but reinjured it in practice last week. Went for a couple plays against Bama but really couldn't go.
All the Ags around me were going "Where is RSJ?" during the game, was looking forward to seeing him and Evans lined up at the same time for matchup hell.
And no, we wouldn't have beat Bama with RSJ. He doesn't play defense.
