Well, if this isn't a subtle troll I'm missing, her expectations pretty much have to mirror her husband's. He's not in the position to freely dictate where he goes anymore. He's lucky an SEC program is taking him on as a full coordinator instead of having to make do with smaller roles in smaller places until the stink of how he left Arizona has worn off. Besides, it may not be the big city, but Oxford is a pretty pleasant place, especially for an older couple well past their wildest years.
Are we sure they're still together, though? Didn't he admit to having an affair?

Lol, remember when he was almost the Alabama headcoach.

I would just like to personally thank him and Rita for not taking the Bama job when offered. Things wouldn't have worked out like they have.

Hasnt this dude hit his peak some time ago? It's one of those names you know, but not sure what he's ever done to earn that brain space.

quote:for real though. im shocked ole miss had to stoop to this. He runs a power spread run-based offense. It makes no sense.

Looks like Rich Rod will be the new Ole Miss coach after they fire Luke next year.

You could hire the best OC, DC, And HC but what are you going to do with those horse shite players ?

RR is a great hire. He adjusts his offense to his personnel and can be pass or run oriented. People criticize his AZ record but he really had unprecedented success there and is responsible for 25% of the school’s bowl appearances. Michigan was a bad fit but he left a nice cupboard for Hoke to have some success for a couple of years.

This seems to be the talking point being put out by the OM folks because I’ve now seen this thrown out in multiple places. Not really sure it’s true though. He’s never had an offense pass more than run and really only had two seasons at Arizona where it was even close to being 50/50. He’s a run oriented coach through and through. It will definitely be a change from what you’ve seen under Freeze and Luke once he gets settled.

Don’t flatter yourself. Just pointing out the obvious. Mainly that y’all fired the best coach you ever had under suspicion of whore mongering and replace him with another coach with the same issues on offense and a DC who was fired for covering up assault. Y’all don’t learn your lessons very easily.

So the Rebs fired Freeze for hiring hookers and then turns around hires a guy that sexually harasses women and now is accused of beating them too and another guy that was fired for not reporting this kind of thing.
Why do Rebel fans allow this kind of thing? Is football more important than anything? If it is, then you are a sad individual.

I mean I doubt he ever throws it 70% of the time ala Leach but his goal is to be balanced. His best team at UA threw the ball 40 times a game which is pretty high. Obviously he didn’t throw the ball a ton with Pat White and Khalil Tate

The hookers were the golden goose for Bjork to fire Freeze. He wanted to fire him for a multitude of reasons, including the NCAA violations, but couldn’t really justify firing a successful coach or paying his nearly 20 mil buyout to do so.

Didn’t he leave AZ under some shady circumstances (allegations of sexual assault or not reporting assault or something)?

Rich Rod got fired from AZ without cause and his accuser never filed a lawsuit and the charges were not substantiated.
