That play had zero impact on the game. LSU lost when they let Bama tie because they are more well built for the short field in college OT. That is a fact, and I called it when Bama hit the tying FG.

A series of bonehead mistakes cost LSU the game. Certainly was a nice hit by Mr. Foster, but it is weird to think this had any bearing on the outcome.

Other than de-cleating kick return specialists, no.......seems to be pretty good at it....go back and watch the hits he delivered in the Aggie game. If he can grasp the complexities of Saban's defense,he will be very special.

Rattled LSU's collective spirit. Pumped UA up a couple levels. We wanted it more in OT. It showed.

It was already rattled by the game tying FG. I seriously doubt that a hit on a single player rattled the rest of the team even more.

I don't doubt that it pumped Bama up. That was obvious. But it isn't like LSU didn't want to win anymore.

The fact of the matter is that Alabama is more well-suited for college OT to begin with because of the short passing game (that was working all night, btw). LSU lost when the game tying FG went through the uprights, and the reason is that we are a bad matchup for Alabama in OT. Just how it is, and that's how it went down.

That hit actually made me more impressed with LF than before. Thats probably one of the hardest hits of the year and he sprang up and shook it off.

Foster's problem is that he can't go three plays without knocking himself out. Once he get's that corrected he will be a monster starter next year.

Four eggs is a monster. That hit was awesome.

- damn autocorrect. Fournette. I kind of like four eggs though.

Makes sense, both break and get scrambled.

Please stop. Buga was absolutely LEVELED on that hit. I'm pretty sure I watched his left kidney protrude through his uni on that hit.

Even earlier in the game some LSU fans mentioned LF was shook up and stumbled on the sideline in the Tiger Rant game thread. I think it was after Ragland popped him.

I keep watching the hit. Did the kidney protrude in the 2 seconds between the hit and Fournette getting to his feet? I'm just not seeing it. From the way you describe it, it should be as obvious at the Kenyan Drake hit.

Yup. I would've let that kick go touch back, if at all possible - Peveto owns that call.

That hit gave the red team a further boost and added to the Tigers' shell shock.
