This Alabama-Georgia State game is an abomination.

People who complain about fans and students leaving early, especially for games like this, are dumbasses.

Anybody want my LSU-Furman tickets?

All teams play these. If you play 12 tough games you won't go to the NC game.

So then everybody should stop playing them.

F it. I'm not going to watch Ga State or Furman or Incarnate Word.

This is why the system is broken. Even the 4 team playoff is broken. Even 16 would be.

They just shouldn't put them on TV.

It's a disgrace. A program of Alabama's stature has no business whatsoever playing a game like this. It's not even sporting.

Without them we rarely get to play at night, so keep them.

I agree, just don't televise these games. Shouldn't be rewarded for this.

Exactly. There are dozens of other games being played which would be actual football games, not just a scrimmage.

This is really embarrassing for the SEC.

Agreed.
Regardless of the game's outcome, it's a lose-lose situation for Bama.

Wrong, gives our younger guys some experience. From the QB position we need it.

I'm interested to see if the national media jizzes its pants when we put up an Oregon-esque score like they do with, well, Oregon every week.

Experience against whom, though? Playing a HS varsity team would also give your younger guys experience.
Don't get me wrong--I hate it when A&M plays these games too--much more so than when other teams play em.

Playing a full schedule of tough opponents will have your team turning to jelly by the end of the season.
