Where is this talent at WR ?

And Burton lost his starting spot to that room.

Ladd McConkey was pushing Burton to the side.

I bet you were really proud of him when he kicked that Tennessee defender for no reason Saturday.

You mean the defender that was twisting his ankle after he got beat for a TD?

Then he must have way better numbers than Burton? Especially since Beck is SOOOOO much better than Milroe??

He's been injured like 90% of our offense this season.

For some reason, our offense is still outperforming Bama. Even with our no-name WRs

He could be flashing 2 NC rings (and possibly 3) instead of hoping for another Sugar Bowl trip.

Clearly he still can potentially do that.

Burton is a good receiver but I am glad he is no longer on our team.
He's an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty waiting to happen.
He's an a-hole.
Kirby processed his arse.

We don't need luck.

We have Kirby, now.

I think UGA fans think that he was a good player, but he wasn't someone who they were torn up over leaving. And why would they? They have plenty of pass catching playmakers. He would have probably helped this season with all the injuries I suppose.

Burton never realized his potential with us, largely due to injuries. He had other issues, like blocking, but his potential was always acknowledged. Personally, I was happy for him that he had the opportunity to go play with Young, and not broken up about it because he had never found consistency with us.

I am perplexed at his unsportsmanlike behavior, as I never remember him acting like that before, but I'm glad to see him finally finding the success that most of us knew he possessed.

I do not know if there is any truth to it at all but rumor at the time was that Burton decided to leave when Stetson Bennett announced he was staying because Burton was convinced that Bennett was not the best choice at QB for UGA. The 2 stories were right on each others heels. If so Burton certainly got to play with a better QB one year and a much worse one another....

He’s a baller and I’m damn glad he’s at Bama.

Bama needs to comeback at home against a terrible Tennessee team and thinks that they're back now?

Per SoFl's website, that's pretty much it.

Burton was promised an "offensive style". When Bennett won the job, that style got put on the backburner.

When Bennett was coming back (and the liklihood that the style would be stagnant to 2021), Burton hit the road. He didn't realize that the passing game was going to open up with Bennett/Monken.
He probably didn't realize how good Carson Beck would be in 2023. Burton could be a star this year (especially with McConkey's injury and Smith's hands).

So you saying he wasn't going to play at uga? Besides, he seems like a punk. Makes a TD catch, gets tackled and then kicks the DB.... yeah, he's a punk.

UGA had to come from behind against a terrible Auburn team to win
