Because when we did play we controlled the game. That's the best evidence we have for who would win. I'm not trying to poopoo on bama as a team. I have started a few threads stating the fact that bama deserved to be in the playoffs based of record....but we whipped dat arse and that will never change. When ever you look at that less than perfect record you will remember who was that "-1".

Your making the playoffs does not change the fact that they beat you, or us. And they beat both of us rather convincingly. We were lucky to be able to play a do over, and can at least claim we had an off game. the only thing Alabama can do is win the championship to prove it.

As much as I hate Auburn, we have no right to talk shite to them. They made our team look like absolute dog shite and got punished for winning the division.
We'd just better keep quiet, thank our lucky stars, and hope that our team somehow looks twice as good in January tbh

It's all about building that brand. Bama did it winning 4 championships lately. Auburn is building it playing a good schedule this year. And you beat Bama! So maybe you can have the same enjoyment the Rebels had in 14 and 15.

This is true. We still failed on the big stage, but having to play Georgia, Alabama, and Georgia again all in 4 weeks is a tough task. Fact is Auburn was beat up for Georgia and we ran out of gas. Course bama could say the same when they played Auburn as well. Either way the SEC had 3 championship caliber teams this year.
