In the SEC everyone cares.
Not only do they care, but they care about everything.
It is why the other conferences hate the SEC
They have canned crap like rocket man in austin. SEC has real traditions.

A Why would anybody go to Waco for a football game?
B Are those Utx fans or the Utx band?
Neither of which is relevant, as that picture I believe you're referencing is clearly Milan Pusker Stadium in Morgantown, West Virginia.

The picture I am referring to is Waco, as Bears are piss yellow and puke green. In that picture, in the corner, are those fans or Band members, not a hard question.
As for WVU, Congrats on getting out of there without a trip to the hospital. While they makes big deal about the Souths lack of integration back in the day, WVU was probably THE most hostile place to play.

That is the Texas band in the top corner, with the fans sitting adjacent to them. Just like opposing fans in DKR in Austin.

I went and got the magnifying glass. You are correct, my apologies
I think that is a different stadium from the one I remember. My memory was a single story with an open end. I had no desire to go back and never did.
If that is a new or expanded stadium probably safer up there than the ground (harder to throw bottles up than down)
Still, I feel the same about Baylor as I do about BYU, no desire to be around that many white people who operate under a single mindset. We used to harass the local Scientology house in the 70's and I feel the same creepy vibe from Baylor and BYU folks. I would not travel to see my team play them on their turf.

You guys must understand that Texas had already sold those lower-level tickets to students before this issue even came up, right?
That's because the people in Austin making those decisions collectively have fewer brain cells than a head of cabbage.

This is the biggest game at home for Texas since LSU, it would be completely asinine to do that to our own students.
That's because your students are a bunch of worthless fricking snowflakes and your administration enables them. That there ever was even a discussion about continued playing of "The Eyes of Texas" tells the rest of the world all we ned to know about your students and your administration.

Truth be told, I'm a little shocked by the SEC fanbases this week being so heated over this
Because in the SEC, we are a bit more hospitable to opposing schools. So whenever we see this, we're a little surprised.

Yeah, I'm sure that if KState put Missouri's band at the top of their stadium, we'd have seen 200 posts about it on the rant...

Almost All the Texas students I spoken too have either sold their tickets or not planning to go to the fans, they are not fans of 11:00 kick off at all.

You're comparing Kstate vs Missouri to Alabama vs Texas?
why?

One will be closer that the other, but perhaps he is confusing kU with KSU. I think both have beaten Utx so they have PTSD over any mention of KS.

Maybe still scarred where Snyder touched them?

I'll spell it out for you: you baws don't actually care about Alabama's band outside of being able to use the situation to shite on Texas on the Rant.
Which I totally get, I'm just calling bullshite that anyone actually cares about this.

Saban has motivated Alabama with less. Butch Jones once referred to Alabama’s school colors as “red” while he was the UT coach. Alabama plowed their arse. And Alabama players mentioned the slight after the fact.

Texas is not at fault. Whoever read and approved the contract for this game is at fault.
Alabama’s lawyers screwed the pooch.

You will either “feel” like it or be kicked out of the conference. There are rules and Texas will have to obey them. The SEC isn’t the SWC or the Big 12. You aren’t going to run the show. Not in the SEC. The very idea is laughable

Not a big fan of bands, although they are still a part of the pageantry of college football. I like the flag Girls however. I have no problem with a home team banning other bands or putting the fat boys with tubas in upper deck, just make sure we do the same to them. I better not see the Texas band in lower bowl at BDS next year or I will be pissed at our admin.
Posted on 9/9/22 at 8:26 pm to XWing atAliciousness
bullshite. Your admin went crying to the Big 12, hence the crybaby rule. I don’t know you, but most TX fans I do know, are pretentious, entitled bitches. I believe you called them soft, and there are several of them. TX won’t run shite but their fking mouths in the SEC.

Hospitable? Is it Tennessee that has a "fence" between the fans & the baseball field, or LSU that throws the piss balloons? STTDB? Did I understand that right?
I'm familiar w/ aggy and the flipping of shovels of shite on the band, or the team hotel not serving the players game day breakfast.
I know kids will be kids, but some of that open tolerance for poor behaviour seems to be institutional.
What other Southern Hospitality might we expect?
