Mullen used to say that there was no reason State couldn’t compete for a national title. It was probably coachspeak, but he did have us ranked #1 for half the season in 2014.

I think it's fantastic for y'all. This doesn't happen all that often, and I'm glad the committee made this happen. It would have been nice to see y'all ranked in the top four, so you could really feel it...just once.

No you shouldn't. We make dumb coaching decisions and a quarterback, an overrated quarterback, that makes very, very poor decisions under pressure. It was a gift. I think Missouri fans were the only ones who knew Missouri was going to lose the game, even with a minute left.
