Yea, same old Bama, left 13 men stranded swinging at bad pitches in key situations.

I think Ole Miss gets UW here but UW is a real good team.

I loathe Alabama and that was the worst elimination-game game-ending-call I have seen on any level.

It was that bad.

But frick it. Shouldn't have put themselves in that situation.

Just realized that UGA faced 14 teams that made the NCAA tournament during our regular season:

- Kennesaw State (1 home, 1 neutral)
- Georgia Southern
- Georgia Tech (1 home, 1 away, 1 neutral)
- Binghamton
- Clemson (1 home, 1 away)
- @ Florida State
- Miss. State
- @ LSU
- Kentucky
- @ Florida
- South Carolina
- @ Texas A&M
- @ Ole Miss
- @ Vandy

How we came away at 13-25-1 against that spread is astounding to me.

Need a pic of where it was at the plate, Riseup. That ball had some nasty movement and wasn't quite as bad as it appeared - albeit a missed call.

yeah, even if you suck pretty hard it's not impossible to take 1 out of 3 on a regular basis.

We were a pretty terrible team. I don't think we had a single batter in the lineup with more than 3 HRs on the year? We small balled our way to victory most every game. Perno left Stricklin nothing to work with on his way out.

He will be next at bat too.

It's reaching "did you know Andrew Hatch went to Harvard?" and "Herman Johnson was the biggest baby born in Louisiana" levels.

We won the series over A&M, Binghamton, and USCe and notched wins over Clemson, Tech, Ole Miss, MSU, Kentucky, and Vandy. Tied LSU.

Given that we started the season off at something like 0-8, I wouldn't have expected to win more than 5 of those games much less hit double digits in the win column. We had an absolutely brutal schedule this year and I think Stricklin did well to take our team in one year and at least get them to the SEC tourney and win a few big series and games over much better competition.

That's what I am pissed about, swinging for the fences with the bases loaded and 1 out, and striking out.

We lost eight 2-1 games and a few more 1-0 and 2-0 games.

We don't consistently hit good enough, but we should never pay a team like KSU and only score 7 runs in 3 games.
