Baseball is just too damn unpredictable. That's why it's such a tough sport to bet on.

OM/Vandy fans, I plan on watching the Supers next weekend. Would y'all like a Super Regional thread for both your teams this upcoming weekend?

Yes, please. Thanks!

Damn OM and Vandy were the only 2 to advance? I thought the league was super strong this year. Anyway, rooting for both of you unless Kennesaw keeps winning.

In terms of depth, it was. But I don't think there were any elite teams in the league. Most of the SEC teams to make the tourney were 2-3 seeds. LSU and SCar losing their regionals is a bit of a surprise, but when you think about it, a team that never even had a solidified lineup (Florida) was on top of the league all year.

Agree Drewbie..all the other teams have/had a solid one or two teams but lacked depth(pac12 and acc).

Big 12 probably had the best of both worlds. Either way a pretty good year for the SEC getting 10 in.

See, where you are mistaken is you forgot that Vanderbilt & Ole Miss ARE elite.

Big 2.

And I would love to have a thread!

If either get hot, they are very dangerous teams. If neither does, they can get pedestrian in a hurry.

The turf on ULL's field worries me. It's something our team isn't use to playing on. They'll be able to practice on it starting Friday when they get there.

They've hopefully been using the IPF to practice on turf.

Bianco said they didn't due to the IPF being a totally different turf compared to the one at ULL.
