The latest “I want the guy who played on my TV today” thread.
This might be a great rivalry, but this is the worst combined offensive performance I have seen in a college football game in decades.

Stop laughing and tell me why I'm wrong, jackass.

For the win. LSU fans were butthurt when this happened and some of those same fans loved the Zion dunk. Can’t have it both ways.

It's all about context. The Pelicans thing is a culmination of a lot of things, most notably the national media shitting on or ignoring us, and CP3 and his teammates being total bitches in the playoffs last year.

Georgia was a dick move just to put up a symbolic number. And so was their DT carrying an obviously injured QB around like a trophy. Why did they do that? Because Joe Burrow embarrassed them (but did no bitch moves) 3 years ago?
The Suns are mad? You know what else sucks? Every talking basketball head in America openly debating and advocating which big market team every Pelicans/Hornets star should play for. Or said players wearing “That’s All Folks” t shirts to their final game with the team.

That’s two decades of frick you America in one dunk. It’s our turn now.

What did we learn about the marine. About his conviction and discharge?

So why do you keep calling him a Marine?

Would it be okay if we called Jeffrey Dahmer an Army Man?

I wonder if there is ever going to be a war in the streets with those woke liberals and the people who actually stand up for values ?

Are the ones "who actually stand up for values" the ones talking about he was dishonorably discharged over a decade ago from the Marine RESERVES for larceny? He's not even a Marine anymore.

Y'all act like Biden left John Cena over there or something. He should come home too, but stop freaking distorting the facts for your political purposes.

Officiating NFL or NBA seems like an absurdly hard job. There's a million rules and multiple things you have to watch for and it's basically impossible to not miss multiple calls every single game.

Well at least one of the crew leaders only got his job just because his daddy did it before him. How fortunate for him.

Most people who mess up that bad at work would lose their jobs.

I'm still waiting to see the the 20,000 pages of Bountygate evidence.
I wish that just one time, the Saints would walk off the field in the middle of the game after one of these repeatedly ridiculous calls and publicly announce that they are not coming back on the field until the NFL does something about officiating incompetence/corruption.

I mean at this point, what's the worst thing that could happen--they miss the playoffs? How many draft picks do they have left to steal like they did for the "COVID celebration or Bountygate?"
Wasn't the first time Tom Brady was allowed to frick the Saints on the final play of the game either.

How will NBC now meet their quota for hiring undeserving former Cowboys as TV analysts? They already meet their nepotism requirement with Cris Collinsworth's kid.
But ESPN will televise Lakers/76ers instead in the same time slot.

This why ratings never change and some teams never get a chance to prove they can pull an audience. But keep on fricking that chicken, genius TV executives.

Dutchtown and EA are same or closer to Catholic

Y'all are a bunch of hard heads and still don't get it.

Leave East Ascension High School at 5 pm on Friday and see how long it takes to get to Memorial on I-10.

Then drive down LA 16 to Watson and get back to me.

Plus correct me if I was wrong but it was the only situation in the state where people in the same parishes were playing in separate districts for same classification. (Same parish, not same school district)

Jefferson/Orleans with the Public/Catholic School League
quote:

looking at a map it kind of makes sense (West and East BR)... but it also made sense before (North and South BR)

The issue for AP was Catholic playing at Memorial. When they played at Olympia you could go up Perkins. Woodlawn/McK/Broadmoor/Liberty weren't the problem. And it wasn't just because they generally sucked at football (until Rickie Collins)

It's a lot easier for Zachary and Scotlandville to get to Memorial on Friday night than it is for East Ascension.

It's just a little more complex than the "AP/LP pussied out" narrative some people are trying to push. They almost care as much about baseball as they do about football, so why would Dutchtown and STA want to give up 20-run wins against Woodlawn and McKinley to add Live Oak and Walker?
quote:

I’m sure it had absolutely nothing to do with those schools being a combined 0-90 over the last ten years vs Catholic and Zachary…

Or you could argue that it was the way it was because Catholic and Zachary were scared to play each other during the regular season.

quote:

So, live oak to EA is a shorter trip than Live Oak to Zachary? Please do that math for me…

Now do this math. How long does it take for an AP school to get to Memorial on Friday evening? It's A HELL of a lot easier to get to Live Oak for them, and vice versa for Live Oak.

Central wanting to tear down an outsider and suck off its own. You don’t say? Been that way at least 45 years.

Central wouldn't have made the playoffs even if they had the full 32 teams.

I didn't come in here like the Tigerdroppings Police all butthurt because somebody started a thread about an HBCU.
