Even with Mateer back, OU's running game is its achilles heel. Their OL was in poor shape against Auburn. Two guys could barely move due to ankle issues, I believe. But the 'Horns DL is pretty good. That's gonna be a problem for them.

After doing a deep dive on backup qbs/hiding things for when it matters, just how sure is everyone that Sark and Arch aren’t sandbagging? If Arch actually is who he was hyped to be, the Ohio State game would likely have been a rematch in the playoffs either way, so why show anything at all? And the other games have been mismatches regardless of qb play. Is it that insane to have Arch intentionally play like shite to throw off opponents/frick up their preparation by giving them shite film to scheme for? Sounds crazy at first, but when you really think about it…why wouldn’t you do that? It’s not like it would impact his rep/draft stock when the real qb shows up later in the season

Have you not been paying attention. Hope your backup QB is ready when you play Texas.

Some of you fans were dropped on your head as a baby and it’s starting to show..

“I’m going to scheme up open receivers and run calls according to my tendencies but when I do it I want you to throw the ball in the dirt or way off the mark, that’ll really confuse everyone!” -Sark according to you

We haven’t seen all the window dressing Sark likes to use because our offensive lineman can’t stay in their stance long enough. Texas constantly has false starts as it is without the motions etc.

No worries there. He could potentially be better than our starter.

UGA won the SEC beat Texas twice and was eliminated from the playoffs in the same round as Texas.

For UGA sure, but winning the SEC is always an objective.

Probably less disappointing for UTa just like it was for UTk. It’s been so long since they were relevant they were just happy to be there.

Hey dumbfrick, coaches now teach players to fake injuries for strategy and start inferior qbs(particularly with different skill sets)for close to entire seasons, saving their best/ace in the hole until the time is right to throw off opponents prep. The game is do anything to win

The former strategy just got Syracuse fined, the latter won both Ohio state and Bama national titles within the past decade

The next evolution is clearly having players sandbag
