Everyone has this whole situation all wrong. This man doing this is actually Raylen's father by his first wife. Raylen is bi-racial.
He was congratulating his son, for frick's sake. He was saying way to go boy, way to go boy. As his son Raylen walked away, the father was telling the other man standing there to look at him, look at him, because he was so proud of his son.
