Why do you think there are divisions in the SEC for basketball?

You're right, there are no divisions, but how do they decide who plays a team only once or twice? I thought that the guy in the other thread had said they play in the East and this was why they had to play Kentucky twice?

OP tries to make a point in order to fluff his own school; OP forgets not even Rantards are too dumb to look at the standings and won’t call a .500 squad a “Top SEC Team,” especially when Carolina has a better conference record and Florida and Bama have the same conference record

Conference records are arbitrary. Otherwise a 8-10 Alabama team wouldn't have made the Tournament last season.

You realize Tennessee played Gonzaga right? Also Kansas lost it’s best player recently that’s why they haven’t been the same. Also, we play y’all Saturday....at LSU

He put the teams that are actually solidly projected in the tournament right now.

Florida and Bama are on the bubble, I don't even think USC has gotten to bubble status yet.

It wouldn't surprise me if Alabama has a better record against Q1 teams that some on the list.

Just a terrible record against non-Q1 teams.

Then I can take away wins like Mississippi State, Auburn, Kentucky and Georgia which match the margin of defeat(-15) you had to OSU and Arkansas.

His point was that LSU has only had one bad loss. You didn't get that at all, apparently.

Mike and Blueballs like to get caught up on this. It's funny.

LSU is winning the SECW by a mile, baws!

That ought to stir them up.

Also standings halfway through the year are deceiving. MSU has probably played one of if not the hardest conference schedule so far. Arkansas and Vandy were the only easy confernce games.

Everyone else has been tournament teams or USC, who we lost to in OT on some BS on the road.

We finally get some easier games now. You also have to look at the wins and loses, our only loss outside of 5 points was Kentucky in Rupp.

It really puts things in perspective. State has had a tough schedule and is a better team than most think.

I think Tennessee is pretty overrated.

My bold prediction is State, UK, and LSU all make the sweet 16 while UT loses in 2nd round

Why don't you rank them by win %?

LSU .750
Tennessee .750
Kentucky .727
Miss State .583
Ole Miss .364
Auburn .000
