Chad, this fits right in line with the timeline. Look, when this failure went down, they started digging into who, what, where, when, and why. Colonial went down in Mid to late summer, 2009. Wire taps could have easily been placed on the controlling parties AFTER the collapse to gather evidence. Colonial didn't fail as a result of the Investigation, the investigation started as a result of the failure. See the difference?

This. It was in the back of my mind when reading some of the articles. Can't the FBI turn around and go after the writers with interfering with an investigation or obstruction of justice?

I don't have any inside sources nor will I speculate about any investigation but in my opinion the FBI's involvement in this whole thing means big trouble for AU one way or the other. It seems to me anytime they are asking questions they already know the answer.

My thoughts exactly. The Feds know how to play the game. They always go after the small fish first in order to get them to roll over on the bigger game.
They always want the smaller parties involved to back the evidence they have already gathered & testify for them they when they finally go after their bigger party.
Right now all they are doing is putting pressure on those already indicted to start talking & giving info on the bigger prizes in exchange for lighter sentences.
This is just the tip of the iceberg but ultimately it may take much longer for what everyone is anxious to find out about & by that I mean what is really on those wiretaps.
Remember the Feds have a 98% conviction rate. They don't leave any stone unturned & they only go to trial when they are fully confident with the evidence they have collected.
