re: For those who have cut the cord - How Do you watch the Tigers and what does it cost?

Yeah, mine would definitely lag, then freeze up, go pixelated, etc. Had to sign out and sign back in to fix it... so don't think it is my connection. I get much better performance out of YTTV.

I used Sling for a couple of years, but it tended to flake out during the game. If you have YouTube TV available, you might check that out as well ( YouTube TV)

Hmmm... looks like maybe he took "OBJ" with him, then?

Where exactly is this information located? I'm not doubting it, I'm actually interested. I never thought of LSU as a military school. I honestly thought all you had was an Airforce ROTC.

re: West Bleacher seats

Makes no difference if you are standing, just a little annoying if you are seated' or if you are three feet tall (like my seven year old son is).

Is that WBL3? I sat there for the Carolina game last week... it's at the side of the end zone. We loved the seats, but you have to be above the 2nd row for the fence to be completely out of the way when you are seated....

Check! My kids' first game in TS, and Spurrier's last...

Trying to add common sense to where Missouri is and keep rivalries intact.
You use this as a geographical argument, but then throw out the true geographical line of division based on preference...
quote:
To the best of my knowledge, there is not a tremendous rivalry between Tennessee and Vanderbilt and if there is they can be permanent cross division rivals.
You could also (as has been pointed out in this thread) make Alabama and Auburn permanent cross division rivals. I am aware this would be problematic for TSIO, but again, this is a preference... not purely rational based on your initial premise of geography.
You are not the only person on this board who makes a living applying logic...

I am a straightforward, point A to point B kind of person. And I see absolutely no logic in the current division alignment;

For that matter, your division doesn't give a "true West to East breakdown", since Tuscaloosa is further west than Nashville...
I had to make that concession to keep the Iron Bowl intact within the division.
Your statements are contradictory.

Didn't appear you wanted to split up same state schools with moving both Alabama and Auburn.

For starters, that would put the two Tennessee schools in separate divisions...

This came up on the Coaching Changes board... kinds of speaks to your theory: Beaty interview
Some excerpts:
Some excerpts:
quote:
When Kevin Sumlin took over the A&M program after a heck of a run at Houston, he sought to fill his staff with guys who had beaten him.
quote:
“Not one man on his (Texas A&M) staff came from any place other than a team that he lost to,” Beaty said of Sumlin. “And particularly a team that overachieved in an area. His guys on his staff are all guys that beat him somewhere.”

Cliffs: 1) Saban has been gone 9 years... GET OVER IT (yelling to the audience behind him)
2) You've won a National Championship since he left (still yelling over his shoulder)...
3) but Saban's won three (still talking over his shoulder)
Just showed himself as a huge a-hole...
