Looking at Quarter By Quarter Scoring...
I expect Ole Miss to start fast, LSU to catch up or pass them by half. Then Ole Miss to pull it off in the 4th quarter in a close one.

Easy to see, there's a lot of folks focusing on this game that don't have a dog in this hunt.

If we have more total yards than them and have a positive turnover differential I like our chances

That’s a lot of stats to anchor to, given that they have zero common opponents and that they aren’t SoS adjusted. It’s all pretty much eye test and expert assessments on matchups at this point to try to pick winners.
Those stats are just noise right now.

It’s still semi early, but by week 8, these stats would be interesting to see the changes.

The formulas account for this based on SOS, Sagarin, and Talent level factors...
But since no common opponents exist:
Tulane >= Arkansas
Ga Tech >= Miss St.
Alabama < Florida State

Should be a good one. Seems like a pivotal game for Ole Miss since they already have 1 conf loss.

We have a better:
Coach
QB
Lines on both sides of the ball
Our secondary is bad but our passing attack against their pass d is, at worst, at least as favorable for us as their passing attack against our pas defense is for them.
Someone tell me what matchup I’m supposed to be scared of as an LSU fan.

Dunno really; just putting out the side-by-side; but while I am pulling for Ole Miss in this one, my gut says it'll be more like:
45-35 Tigers
45-35 Tigers

Will you retire your spreadsheets if the game is nowhere near those scores?

No, why does this upset you so much? The reason is because the score prediction is just 1% of why I do it...
It's more about the visual for the side-by-side stat comparison, at least for me. And I enjoy it.
