I really hate Neal mcready. When he was here in the mobile area I played men’s softball with him and Mike Griffith; the two biggest bleeding vag’s on the entire planet. I think at the time those two tools were the bama and auburn beat writers.

We all have our sources. Mine is an associate AD that has been in the building over a decade and has a close relationship with someone in Sexton’s office. Allegedly, Sexton got a few phone calls from Woodward 2-3 days before the A&M game then after Woodward was fired, it has been crickets outside of one LSU booster trying to talk to him about Lane.

Based on outdated information the last 10 minutes I was wrong you were right.
Seems that UF is very confident and has details in place. No decision has been made but there has obviously been back and forth with UF and Lane.

This may be true but Parham and Keith Carter are legit friends. Parham has the sources inside the AD. McCready has national sources. They are money on coaching searches.
They were exactly right in 2022. Lane was gone until the week of the Egg bowl when Landry Kiffin convinced him to stay. Hell the broadcast of the Arkansas game spend the whole game talking about how Lane would work at Auburn.

Neal literally was parroting for Sexton because Keith “wasn’t taking Jimmy seriously.” Lane was never leaving and Nick Saban of all people played a big part in it and that’s coming from inside the IPF.
Keith is friends with a lot of people here and so is Chase. You don’t talk work and you sure as shite don’t leak it if you do.

His daughter and Lane have both confirmed he was leaving.
Freeze leaked the story to Talty to hurry up Lane's decision. Freeze ended up with the job. There is no coincidence Lane has been shite talking Freeze this week. It pissed him off.
