In fairness, Neal flipped about 5 times on the Auburn question.

Lane is going nowhere. He is PERFECT for that job. They don’t expect championships and he brings an exciting brand of football.

I’m not saying that Lane isn’t leaving. But Neal McCready isn’t as well connected with the program as others and frequently flip flops on these types of questions because he doesn’t really have great sources. Dude reports on vibes. The vibes for him are down right now.

If Neal says something is happening, then the opposite is true. Dude said Lane to Auburn was a done deal in 2022 too. He’s been an “insider” for 20 years but has no real inside sources that tell him real info

To be fair he was going to Auburn until the week of the Egg Bowl. Like agreed in principal and all that. It has been confirmed by Lane's family.

I'm telling y'all, LSU got their shite together this week and he is option 1 for them. LSU is a much better job that UF. Orgeron won a natty there. If he leaves it is for LSU not UF.
His comment about Natty's and stadiums and Heismans was thinking about LSU. We lost 2 DBs to LSU where the money was equal this past offseason. The reason they picked LSU was those reasons. If we had those 2 we are probably undefeated.
