Come on, you have to give the man at least three years.

In two years, he will have the talent he needs for the trenches. In year three, LSU will be back.

LSU fans just need to be patient.

The AD needs to be fired. LSU is a dumpster fire thanks to him

If we only win another game or 2 this year I really think he will be fired. It is completely unacceptable to have a sub 500 season at LSU with the amount of money we pay the staff and the resources we have.

We also have a fan base that was mostly pissed when we hired O so he never really had a leash to begin with. My guess is Alleva and king will get canned at some point after a few more losses because the Board has no faith in them anymore and if our downward spiral continues yaw yaw will be gone after the season.

His buyout takes a good dip on 1/1/19. That is the day they can him, imo.

. But he's gonna try to be really bad this year so he can bank that $12M

Can a coach be this bad on purpose without it being really noticeable?

I don’t even think it’s possible. It’s actual ineptitude not a greedy scam

I am there for you man.

All of these posts will look silly when LSU is rocking it in three years.

And Troy is a good team, I mean they almost beat Boise at home too --- well for a half anyway.

After the 2018 season they still owe him an $8.5M buyout.

It drops to 6 on Jan 1, 2019.

Either we won't make a bowl, or we'll make a bowl that occurs before Jan 1, so we'll be good to fire him after the season is fully completed.

Since when does LSU wait until after the season to fire a coach?

If they didn't extend that to the most successful HC they ever had, why would they extend the courtesy to Coach 0? Because he one of you?

Because it would cost a lot more to fire him during the season.

It isn't Just O who has to be paid.

You still have Miles, the assistants that Miles had... Ed O, the assistants that would be let go, The new coach and new assistants...

And your pathetic AD... Anyone else to be included in those Millions?

I'm aware.

It's ideal that Miles gets a job, for starters.

Minimum 2 years.

The thing is they are paying Miles, if they fire Ed then they have to pay Miles, Ed, and the new coach. That ain't happening for a while.

and if the new coach doesnt want to keep O's assistants they will have to buy them out as well and then pay new ones.

Honestly why would a coach replacing a "CEO" coach want to keep any assistants that caused the guy he's replacing to lose his job?

Orgeron brought in unprecedented talent at Ole Miss but squandered it with his ineptitude as a game manager. For example: two consecutive delay of game penalties after a timeout inside the Alabama 5, settling for a FG.

Have you noticed how LSU's force defender often takes himself out of the play? Ole Miss fans saw that coming a mile away. Let O recruit every 5* in the region. It won't translate to an SEC championship.
