She’s just trying to get back into character as Rita Leeds

I’m on a Sirius 24 month $3.99 per month plan. They add a .85 cents roalty fee each plus taxes each month. Sirius pays about double what streaming services pay in royalty fees. The Copyright Royalty Board judges have set the new royalty rates and terms for Sirius XM. The company will pay 15.5% of gross revenues for the period of January 1, 2018 through December 31, 2022. That’s a 40% increase from the 11% share Sirius XM has been paying for royalties. I don’t know what the current royalty rate is for Sirius but I’m pretty sure the rate hasn’t decreased.
Yeah I’m an idiot. I was reading about them on Friday after their recent run up and completely misunderstood what they were saying obviously. Drunk diligence is a dangerous game

They also own pandora. Ad money and I think they dont pay as much or maybe even anything in royalties unlike the other streamers. They reverse stock split recently because their stock was in the shitter so overall the price of the stock is still dirt cheap
re: For our OT airline pilots: How many times have y’all made go-arounds that were your fault?

Done quite a few (atleast 4 I can think of) for airplanes delaying on the runway so ATC sent us around. Have had 1 I can distinctly remember I initiated for wind shear in Newark. Never had to do one for an unstable approach or anything
re: Portnoy and some other guy straight up offering Underwood $4 mil to decommit

Underwood will have big time NIL deals independent of booster money. He ain’t worried about portnoy’s money, he will make way more on his own without having to tap-dance for barstool on-demand. Also it seems like he wants to play in the SEC and in a competent offense, 2 things Michigan can’t offer
re: What platform do you use to trade futures

Ninjatrader. I pay 14 a month for the data subscription. Love their charting customization and their ability to trade on the chart but they’re really designed for use on the PC. Their app has very limited charts but is awesome for order entry.
ETA I can’t remember what the minimum account balance is but I think it’s roughly $1000 to trade the micros and they have an abundance of those (SP, Nasdaq, crude, gold, Dow are the main ones I dabble with)

We just got out of it and enjoyed it. As long as you’re going in with expectations of a summer popcorn flick you won’t be disappointed.
Soundtrack is pretty damn good as well

Just got the alert that our power kicked back on in Alden bridge. Several of our friends in the area saying the same thing so that’s promising for entergy/the woodlands. Checked my thermostat on my phone and it was showing 86, which is crazy for nighttime in the woodlands. Don’t know how people survive another day tomorrow without power and with these temps.

Entergy Louisiana today…
Entergy Texas is pretty good at shitting the bed as well. The entire woodlands is out of power except for the small area around the med center which they never let go down. My village (Alden bridge) is on the same grid as Carlton woods where all the rich people live (including an entergy board member) so we usually get power back pretty quick but I don’t think it’s happening this time.
We had to flee to Austin at the last minute last night to catch a flight because our flight out of IAH cancelled. As we drove 290 I saw crew trucks all over the place from brenham to giddings parked or heading towards Houston which tells me the power companies were woefully underprepared and didn’t adapt as the forecast shifted and didn’t reallocate crews to where they needed to go.

Spot silver got all the way to $29.79 then crashed and falling, down to $28.39 within an hour and change. Someone really doesn't want it above $29.50ish.
The amount of resistance at the $30 level is impressive. When it closes above $30 on the weekly it’s going to run, its just a matter of how long before it finally clears it

Best way to sell?
There’s some online places that will take it off your hands at a decent premium depending on what it is, just google them. There was a guy I folllwed on Instagram that was buying, look for stephensvault on there. He’s legit, he sells a shite ton of gold/silver

What's the concern?
A lot of documented concerns with the fund, mainly that they will change their prospectus on a whim and have done so several times over the past few years. And although they are supposedly the largest holder of physical silver in the world that claim is backed by silver that is held in vaults all over the world and leased and released who knows how many times. So basically I don’t like the fact that they are lying about owning the investment product that you are trading and I don’t trust blackrock at all.
PSLV is a sprott fund and they buy it physically and store it in the Canadian vaults and it is audited and verified. The only time they lose silver out of their vaults is when someone redeems a lot of shares for physical which is extremely rare because you’ve got to have a lot of shares to be eligible for physical redemption.
ETA if you’re liking for a quick in/out SLV is ok I guess. For people looking to actually invest in silver I’d stay away. A lot of people that like to short silver but want to stay away from the futures market prefer SLV but I don’t have any experience with that

I’d stay away from SLV. I really don’t like PSLV either but I do own a bit. Physical is the best but premiums get outrageous during run-ups like this and you’ve gotta have a place to store it

GSR was at 100-1 so silver still has a lot of catching up to do relative to gold. Fingers crossed it breaks through $30 in the next few months

You’re asking for precise predictions on human behavior. In this age where humans react constantly to the 24 hours news cycle and you have a market that is 24/7 no chartist out there will ever be able to give you an accurate prediction of what Bitcoin is going to do. Most of the new age Twitter/tiktok investors are hoping to make money off the illusion of making money and you’re just helping them by giving them clicks
re: How much do Taylor Swift’s pilot/pilots make ?
Posted by FredsGotSlacks on 2/4/24 at 10:22 am

There will be at least three pilots on her aircraft from Japan. I haven’t run the numbers, but hours wise it will take 3 if not 4 to rotate during that long of a flight. They probably make around 150k annually. That’s about the average.
13 hour flight only requires 3 crewmembers. Her flight department is part 91 I believe which means she does not have as stringent duty/flight time limitations as 121/135.
King air pilots make more than 150K nowadays. Average salary for a large cabin international pilot (globals, gulfstreams, falcons) is somewhere between 250 on the low end and above 400 depending on how good the flight department is and location (Cali, NY)

This is the most likely answer. She probably pays contracted pilots per day. I don’t know a whole lot about corporate aviation, but I believe this is a common model. Some of the rarer type ratings can score several thousand a day.
I fly a 7X in Texas and have met her CP on the road before. Her guys are very well paid and have a good QOL as evidenced by the fact there is very little turnover in her flight department. Based on industry pay in that region for her airplane(s) Her director/Chief Pilot should be making somewhere around or over 450K plus benefits and Captains around 350/400 plus benefits. Nashville is an expensive place to live so gotta pay well or they’ll just go to delta/AA and deal with the commute to ATL/CLT

Scottsdale mint makes fantastic stuff and it’s well priced. Silvergoldbull and monument metals are where I buy generics
ETA Costco has been offering very well priced silver eagles and pamp gold bars, but they drop them randomly on their website so you’ve gotta scoop them up quick
