Let's say they come out out and say they made him go to rehab in 2020.
He would just say, yeah, I've been public about my struggles with my alcohol.
And then the entire athletic department looks petty for bringing it up after they employed him for 6 seasons, and tried to make him the highest paid coach in the country.

Lane’s actions only make Lane look bad. And his actions are pretty fricked up. The damage control will completely fall on Lane and LSU.
