Was Nauta just that underutilized or just not that good? Seemed like he was never much a factor there. 29 catches FR year, almost none last year, 30 this year.

Rats jumping off the sinking ship.

We are absolutely screwed at TE.

Nauta is a very good player. Fromm did not look his way enough

We are going to be just fine, nothing that has happened today was unknown two weeks ago.

Damn sounds like all the offensive guys had been holding out hope that Fields would get the job. Now... they gone.

Fields to the OSU.
Holyfield to the NFL.

We won’t be able to field a team next year. The agony!!!

Nauta's a very talented player. Hard for us to spread the ball around enough to keep everybody happy which is somewhat of a good problem to have. Think we could have used him more often, but outside of 2017 it wasn't that bad.

Mecole Hardman gone as well

Yep. About to see if UGA has gotten to the reload with no noticeable drop off mode yet. Kirby's recruiting classes have been loaded, let's see how the development part is going.

Sure thing. I remember when Julio, Ingram, Dareus etc all declared I thought to myself we are so fricked. Lol. Hard to believe that's been 8-9 years ago.

That is something I have been most impressed with about Saban. Losing players early and losing coaches every year. yet they keep on keeping on. The way Kirby has been recruiting he likely is going to replace a lot of guys each year.

Rodrigo and JR Reed could be next

Couldn't agree more. We as a fanbase have learned not to become too attached to any assistant coaches lol. I don't know how Saban does it, losing most of his staff every single year. The man is other-worldly.

This coming season is going to be a big test of Smarts coaching ability and development of players.
In other words we are fricked
