Wait what.

Nah, it's either LSU or wash. We have Lacy/Yeldon/Drake, but they have Hill/Ford/Hilliard/Ware/JC(FB) They get the numbers advantage.

No. We may have the best 34 DL, but LSU has 3 potential first rounders, and they're really, really deep.

May I ask why Bama thinks they have an advantage at LB? Barrow had 12 tackles against USCe last week, and that performance was sandwiched around two National Defensive Player of the Week Awards by Kevin Minter.

His stats are-I believe-superior to Te'O at this point, and he's averaging over 10 tackles per game in SEC contests if I'm not mistaken.

Take a look at the preseason All-SEC team. Moseley and Johnson are both outstanding.

Minter is playing very good, but his stats are inflated because the LSU offense cant stay on the field.

Because Mosley is the best of all of our LBs. Minter has good stats, but keep in mind that LSU's D has been on the field a good bit late in games because of how close they have been, also you've played one more game so far than Bama has.

Also, we have a 5 LB corp. Mosley/Trey/Nico/Dickson/Hubbard.

Mosley may be a first round pick.

Trey is listed by some as the top ILB in his class.

Nico has been consistently one of the better LBs in the SEC for years now.

Dickson is a good pass rusher and really stout against the run.

Hubbard is a beast in pass coverage and in pass rushing. His elbow has been bothering him though, but he's done a good job as a first year starter in getting after the QB. Should finish with about 8 sacks.

People we don't have to take seriously on SECr.

In all seriousness, Eric Reid is an All-American Pre-Season. He's played at a mediocre level so far this year. He is not an All-American because he was a Pre-Season All-American.

This concept is somewhat simplistic. That you immediately led off your response to me with the exact opposite mindset leads me to believe you are really kind of not smart.

They are good players. However our Defense has played three straight Top 25 opponents and our LB have not only shown up, but played at All-American levels in response to these challenges.

The only inflation going on is in terms of the physics surrounding how hot air in the otherwise hollow cavity in between your ears is allowing your head to appear spherical.

Minter is playing great and is literally all over the field for you guys. I wish we had him, he is having an All-SEC sort of year so far.

But I still don't think he is as good as Moseley or Nico, even though Nico hasn't seemed as good as last year.

At first I was going to try to discuss some things because there are some level headed Bama Fans in this thread.

Unfortunately, its devolved into the typical SECr...

Hill is definitely better than Lacey and Yeldon idc that he's only had two games with significant playing time. Ware is equivalent to them as well. Hilliard and Ford aren't that far behind them. Then you got Blue who's hurt for the year but was considered our best RB coming into the season. Advantage LSU
