RaRa will be a non-factor for UGA at WR until he gets his mind right

How do you define non-factor?
What numbers does a non-factor put up for UGA in '23?

Less than what he did at State. He’ll be the 3rd or 4th option at best for UGA until he improves his work ethic and consistency.

Lol, I like how other people are getting a glimpse into how Georgia fans get on other Georgia fans nerves and bicker a lot. I once saw two different Dawg fan vs. Dawg fan fights in the same little Fan Zone area one year at the Georgia/Florida game in Jacksonville.

He will split reps at X receiver. With an injury to AD (who has been hurt much of his career), those reps will go up.

He isn't transferring to UGA for stats.
He is preparing to improve his draft stock.

He wants to play for a championship contender. He’s good enough to get into the game occasionally and will only get better with good coaching

I honestly don't know the last time we had a legit QB competition in Athens.

Mett vs Murray?

Ole Miss raised the bar with Ayden Williams, Tre Harris and Chris Marshal. We had shifty slots but lacked bigger bodies for the boundary with huge catch radius.

Sour grapes for saying he has to grow up and get more consistent? If it were sour grapes, I’d say he sucks and that he won’t be missed (that’s not true). His work ethic and consistency however are very fair criticisms.

I would think uga takes a hit if McClendon, Van Pran and B Jones turn pro but I’m sure they got dudes waiting

I don't know why my fellow MSU fans are downplaying RaRa Thomas abilities. I hate losing him, too, but the guy is a playmaker. We are going to have a lot of great receivers so just let it go.

Btw, here are a few highlights from Thomas

Where did I say anything about ability? I said work ethic and consistency. Did he or did he not lead the team in drops? Did he or did he not disappear from the lineup due to poor practice habits?

Lovett is good but he can’t play on the. He is stuck in the slot.

You probably have enough guys to fill that role and they will be just as good or better. We have a few that can fill that hole.

He seems like a good kid from East Louis one of the highest crime rate’s in the country. We get a lot kids from his High School. That’s where Luther went to school.

I would think C would be the hardest adjustment of SVP leaves.

when you talk about a true tossup, nobody knows who will start kinda situation it probably is mett vs murray in 2010. Both of them redshirted in 2009 so the job was totally up for grabs in 2010.

I think the others listed may have provided some intrigue but you genereally knew who was going to start, even if we didn't know how long that job would last.

-Everyone knew eason would eventaully take over but the seasoned vet lambert was likely going to start. Same way JT3 started over stafford in 06
-In 2018 fromm was the incumbent that just won the sec and almost the natty so he wasn't going to get benched for a TFr that hadn't palyed a snap.
-In 2020 I think Newman was alwasy going to be the guy. jt didn't get here til summer so he wasn't involvd int eh spring, and when fall rolled around he wasn't helathy so it was basically mathis or stet. I guess you could technically call that one a tossup since we didn't really have a good grasp on who it'd be at that point.
-To begin 2021 it was very much JT's job to lose based on the 2020 season

I disagree.
Mett didn't get reps with the 1s.
Carson Beck got more reps with the 1s than Stetson in preseason 2021.
Murray was ahead of mett the entire time.
Mett got to compete against the 2nd Team defense during the spring game and looked great tossing over walkons to 2nd stringers like Marlon Brown and Aron White.

This "competition" was just fabricated on message boards. You can't be in competition if you aren't working with the 1s.

Y'all overselling RahRah. Everyone gets a ton of touches in Leach's offense. I guarantee you we won't miss him. Dude had bricks for hands in several games and just disappeared. He was a 3 star for a reason. Good but not elite. He'll be 3rd on the depth chart at UGA at best. And will be whining for more touches.

It’s not a given he starts next year. I know a guy who works for the team and he says that all 3 are about equal but Beck gets the nod due to seniority

Your guy must be related to BV.
