The back end of that season was disturbing. We came out flat against Arkansas and Georgia.

I am sure he did and If he were the head coach of my fav team I would have been pissed if he didn't.

It was fricking annoying. That bama team ground teams to dust all year because their defense constantly forced 3 and outs and their offense wore teams down by the 3rd and 4th quarter, mostly with the run. Saban did a terrible job of game planning in the first one because he tried the same thing against LSU. Which was stupid because LSU rotated 8 Dlineman that year and bama had no chance to wear them down. I was shocked that bama tried it in the first game to begin with.

So it was completely obvious in the rematch it wasn't going to work and as noted, going deep to stretch the field too often was out with LSU's secondary. So the short controlled passing game and TE was the obvious answer. How LSU was not prepared for that is a mystery.

Ha can thank Willie Taggart for his offensive gameplan for that game. We played WKU the week after Bama and they were the first team to really confuse our defense. They didn't have the horses to really do anything, but their scheme was sound.

Bama was the only team the rest of the year to do the same type of stuff as WKU.

Ahem - was obvious to everybody except for a few important folks wearing the purple and gold.

But - I don't k ow what you are talking about. What is this game that you say happened? 1/9 has been erased from memory

I'd recommend most of you actually take a look at the rankings in the Harris Interactive and Coaches' Poll after Oklahoma State lost to Iowa State. Then watch how OSU was purposefully moved up in two weeks to make it interesting.

In the Harris Poll, OSU was sixth, then moved to 5th after Arkansas lost to LSU. Then, the following week they jump up to third after Virginia Tech lost to Clemson and somehow abera-cadabra'd above Stanford even though Stanford didn't play a game.

In short, you frickers are jelly.

Bama's QB was magic that day. He was on target with his passing all day.

LSU's QB couldn't hit his own shadow in that game.

What, so because a team doesn't play a game one weekend, they can't be jumped?

Makes as much sense as make-believing Nick Saban somehow convinced everyone involved in polling to give Alabama a rematch, doesn't it?

Alabama was #2 three weeks earlier. OSU was #6. Eventually OSU rose as high as #3 after Arkansas and Virginia Tech lost, and magically moved above Stanford.

And yes, it was magic. Or aliens.

Ok, what are you saying? If you don't play the last weekend, you stand a chance of getting jumped. It happens every year.

Maybe this needs to be explained to you. OSU jumped stanford due to the SOS boost by playing in the Big 12 championship game. Everyone knew this was going to happen well in advance if they won as well.

Except you apparently.

You and Project are just mean. I don't believe I have ever personally attacked either of you.

Anyway, a lot of people have to repeat a grade in school. Shouldn't make a difference just because I went to a special ed school.

Maybe this needs to be explained to you, but OSU didn't play in the Big 12 Championship Game.

How about you stay in the corner and eat your boogers, and let adults converse?
