Fame doesn't necessarily breed the best rappers. I might put Mississippi at #1 they have Krit and Banner

You say that you just listed the first that came to mind. But who ranked them? You did. So if you didn't list Master P, Boosie or who the hell ever else has been mentioned then you didn't think of them when ranking. Do you get that?

Country Music, Rock n Roll, or any genre for that matter has shitty music. To group and entire genre of music in one category is beyond ignorant and closed minded. There are rap artists who have beautiful music, you just haven't listened to it yet.

if you listen to rap you most certainly do listen to shitty music. much of the genre is plagued with references to female abuse and killing police officers. so go ahead and embrace a culture that's advocating ruining the family unit and crime. sounds reasonable for some of what I've seen.

Jesus I feel old. I have no idea who any of those people are

5. Mississippi
Well, we are the birthplace of Rock-n-Roll and the blues. I guess we can let someone else be the best at Rap.

OK...I'm not a raging moron. Stop being so defensive and actually listen to what I'm saying. Lets say some one put together a list ranking the best SEC football programs and then listed a few players as example. Lets say in listing those teams I use Lavunce Askew, Morgan Linton and Jimmy Gross form Arkansas. And I did that because I just picked a random few Arkansas players. Would it not make sense that people would ask why I didn't list Felix Jones or Darrend McFadden?

because youre getting the perfect mix of people who want to discuss it and people who get angry at the mere sight of hip hop

quote:No. It doesn't make sense. The abbreviation "etc." ends this discussion. I didn't not include them. You simply chose to ignore the "etc.", don't know what it means, didn't read it, or can't comprehend it. You pick.

Let me see if I'm right... etc. is the abbreviation for et cetera. Latin word which means "so forth". Now that's great and you are saying that others could have been listed and weren't because they were grouped into et cetera classification. Now would you not agree that normally, in English writing, when using et cetera, the first listed items are the most important? While the et cetera grouping consists of other items not as worthwhile?
