This is correct.
LSU could pass Tennessee in the next 10-15 years if they go like the last 10-15 years did.
Florida, as well.
No disagreement here, especially if Tennessee has another 10 years like the last 10 years.

UF has more SEC championships and more National Championships than LSU since 1990

If you don't count Ole Miss's 1960 FWAA poll national championship, then Alabama has sole claim to the 1964 national championship, since you don't consider Arkansas's FWAA poll championship legit.

Alabama followed by the mountain gumps is fine but having LSU a team with only two decent decades in 100 + years of football @ #3 is laughable.

Let talk this out why don't we
We've won 1+ conference championship every decade we've played the game, except 2 (40's & 90's).
SIAA & SEC Championships
(1896, 1908, 1935, 1936, 1958, 1961, 1970, 1986, 1988, 2001, 2003, 2007, 2011)
We only claim 3 NC's (1958, 2003, 2007). However, there's also a few titles we don't recognize (1908, 1935, 1936 & 1962)
So what 2 decades are you referring to?

So why is it that by 1990 LSU was ranked 12th nationally in all-time win%, but UGA was down around #16?
Y'all must have had a bunch of decades of suckage to make up for all y'all's decades of glory.
Oh, and 16-13-1, dog. Georgia has NEVER had the series advantage on LSU.

That's from 1964. In that time:
National Titles:
UGA-1
OM- 0
National Title appearances:
UGA- 2
OM- 0
CWS appearances:
UGA- 5
OM- 4
I'm assuming OM has more wins, haven't looked it up but it's probably a fair assumption. But how can you say they've been a "more successful" program than us considering we've fared far better in the postseason when it counts?

I disagree with barberitos, and think that LSU can make a case for 3rd all time. It's not a runaway, but they've certainly got a strong argument.
However, you talking about the 90s or whatever should go to show just how much ground you've made up. According to all these lists or whatever, we're ranked 4th all time. And that's with LSU having 2 national titles in the last 15 years. Up until the mid-2000s, UGA was a pretty clear cut runaway for #3 all time. That's obviously not the case anymore.

What?
What ground did LSU have to make up?

Through 2005, LSU had 2 national titles to UGA's 1, 10 SEC titles to UGA's 11, a .635 win% to UGA's .641, and had a 14-11-1 head to head advantage over UGA.
It was UGA that was making up ground in the 90s as LSU had the all-time win% advantage over UGA to start the 90s, but then fell slightly behind.
Hell, LSU had two SEC titles before UGA got their first.

All time rankings from 1869-2000.
I'm not saying cfbdw's methodology is perfect; however, it's better than most places I've found. To say UGA was a clear cut #3 prior to 2000 is foolish.
& since 2000, we've added 2 NC's, 4 SEC titles, & have 14 straight bowl appearances.
