The SEC Championship has always been an important game on my schedule and one of my favorites. Watched them every year. Here I’ll try to rank the games from 2010-2018 based on excitement and national implications, and watchability

9. 2010 AUB-56, SC-17
8. 2016 BAMA-54, UF-16
7. 2011 LSU-42, UGA-10
6. 2014 BAMA-42, MU-13
5. 2015 BAMA-29, UF-15
4. 2017 UGA-28, AUB-7
3. 2013 AUB-59, MU-42
2. 2018 BAMA-35, UGA-28
1. 2012 BAMA-32, UGA-28

GOAT

Never heard a stadium as loud as when UGA blocked the FG and ran it for a TD

Not to derail the thread, but it's surprising to me how many classics Alabama has been involved in with this SEC Championship Game series.

1992 was an all-timer, as was 1994. 2008 was back and forth, but those two games against Georgia are probably the best of the bunch.

We love to lol at Louisiana St8, but you don't hear much about Bama's 5 game streak over UGA, which is more impressive considering 3 of those wins were for Championships

Oh well, Roll damn Tide

I honestly thought there would be more close games than this.

it was amazing. We were so bad 2009-2011 and that was the moment that it went from "I jsut hope we can hang in there with these guys" to "holy shite, we may actually have a chance". I wouldn't be surprised if that was the loudest moment the dome has ever witnessed.

4. 2017 UGA-28, AUB-7

I was on the Auburn side for this one and about lost my mind when they scored on their opening drive. The first part of that game was wild but I'm shocked that there weren't more than 3 more exciting games than that one

Yea as far as a game is concerned, that game was awful. Should be at or near the bottom. Auburn didn't even show up and UGA more than ready. Just an ugly game all around.

it was still relatively close until the 4th. Heading into the 4th it was a 1 possession game, then we had the TD to godwin early on and then the Swift face crusher. One of the fastest I've ever seen a football player move on the field.

2019: Georgia seeks revenge against A&M for regular season loss. Doesn't get it.

Yep.

BAMA, LSU, and AUB are tough to beat when they’re good

That Auburn-Mizzou game was a fun one to watch. Little 10 style game. Was 45-42 going into the fourth quarter. Might have single-handedly caused Tre Mason's mental issues. 46 carries in the game, think he tooks a few shots to the head. Well done Gus.

I had to rank Auburn Georgia 4th. It was closer than all those other blowouts, had huge implications for both teams.

2015 Bama-UF was closer on the scoreboard but it never seemed to be in doubt, and there was little on the line for Florida.

Probably because the Bama UGA games are actually competitive.
